These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by K and J Services (“we,” “our,” “us”) to the customer (“you,” “your”). By booking, scheduling, or receiving services from us, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services Provided
We provide services including, but not limited to:
Junk removal and hauling
Property cleanups
Light demolition
Yard cleanups and maintenance
Specialized add-on services when requested
All services are limited to the agreed scope at the time of booking.
2. Pricing & Estimates
All pricing provided through our website, over the phone, or on-site is:
Based on visible conditions at the time of estimating
Subject to change if additional work, weight, volume, or labor is required
Finalized only after on-site confirmation when applicable
Additional charges may apply for:
Excess weight or volume
Hidden debris or inaccessible items
Additional labor beyond the original scope
Dump fees and disposal costs
3. Payments
Payment is due upon completion of services, unless otherwise agreed in writing
We accept approved payment methods listed on our website
Failure to submit payment upon completion may result in additional fees, collection actions, and suspension of future services
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations or reschedules must be made as early as possible
Same-day cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee
Weather-related delays may result in rescheduling without penalty
5. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate job details
Ensure safe access to the work area
Secure pets, children, and occupants away from work zones
Disclose any hazardous materials, underground utilities, or unsafe conditions
K and J Services is not responsible for delays or damages caused by unsafe or undisclosed conditions.
6. Property Damage
We take reasonable care during all services. However:
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage
We are not responsible for hidden structural defects
Limited incidental damage may occur during demolition, debris removal, or heavy hauling
Any concerns must be reported before we leave the job site.
7. Disposal & Environmental Compliance
All debris is disposed of at licensed facilities whenever applicable
We are not responsible for customer-provided disposal instructions that violate local laws
Certain hazardous materials may be refused
8. Right of Refusal
We reserve the right to refuse or stop service if:
Unsafe working conditions exist
Hazardous materials are discovered
Misrepresentation of the job scope occurs
Payment is refused or disputed at completion
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
K and J Services shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the service
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless K and J Services from any claims arising from:
Undisclosed hazards
Unsafe property conditions
Third-party actions related to your property
11. Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
12. Acceptance of Terms
By scheduling or allowing services to be performed, you acknowledge and accept these Terms & Conditions in full.

This Service Disclaimer applies to all services performed by K and J Services.
General Disclaimer
All services are performed on an “as-is” basis. While we take reasonable care and use professional methods, no guarantee is made regarding the condition of underlying surfaces, structures, or materials after removal, demolition, or cleanup.
Junk Removal & Cleanups
We are not responsible for damage to items already compromised by age, rot, rust, or structural weakness
We are not responsible for hidden or sealed contents inside containers, walls, or structures
Light Demolition
Demolition work may expose hidden damage, mold, rot, electrical wiring, plumbing, or unstable structures
We are not responsible for pre-existing defects that become visible after demolition
Customers assume responsibility for any required permits unless otherwise agreed in writing
Yard Work & Maintenance
We are not responsible for underground irrigation lines, electrical lines, or hidden utilities unless clearly marked
Plant survival is not guaranteed after trimming, removal, or cleanup
Hazardous Materials
We do not handle:
Asbestos
Biohazards
Toxic chemicals
Medical waste
Any discovery of hazardous materials may result in immediate job stoppage.
Weather & Natural Conditions
We are not responsible for:
Delays caused by weather
Property conditions altered by rain, wind, or storms after service completion
Customer Supplied Information
We are not responsible for damages caused by inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information provided by the customer.
Final Acceptance
Once work is completed and approved on-site, the job is considered accepted.
